Following are the rules of scoring and eligibility for the point game.

For Toddlers (Kindergarten students), Kids Korner (Primary (I to V) Students) & Teen Tangent (Middle & High School Students) :

Earn Your Points:

• A student earns 10 points on completion of the profile.
• A student earns 10 points on each photo (public), or scanned image subject to a maximum of 100 points in a year. For the contest, a student’s photos and pictures, paintings, etc. that he/she uploads on his profile will be judged on the basis of innovation, his efforts & amount of hard work in putting it together e.g. hand painting or hand work, rangoli, posters, science charts, extraordinary photographs etc.
• A student can earn 10 points on each blog posted in his profile subject to a maximum of 100 points in a year. For the contest, a student’s entries in the blog section will be judged on the basis of originality, novelty, his efforts & amount of hard work in putting it together .e.g. own poems, own stories, essays, commentary on current topics etc.
• A student can participate in question-answer column in the forum for which he/she will be given 10 points for each question, subject to a maximum of 100 points a year.
• A student earns 2 points on every invitation he sends to a user who is not registered at GuideStudent.com.
• A student earns 5 points per login on the website subject to a maximum of 5 points in a day.
• It is mandatory for each student to register a minimum of 5 friends each year.
• A student can invite any number of friends from any country to register on the site. You will receive 10 points on each invitation, only when the invited person registers.
• You will be eligible for Point Game only after at least five of your invited friends have registered on this website. For every additional friend registering on the site, you will get 10 points.
• A student can invite any number of teachers from his school but he will get points for a maximum of 2 teachers only @ 50 points each, thereafter @ 10 points per teacher. (The 2 teachers have to be from the students own school).
• A student will earn 250 points if his school registers on his invitation.
• If 2 or more students invite the same friend/teacher/school/coaching institution/vender to register, the invitation honored first will be given points.
• A student can get 100 points for each coaching institution for a maximum of two of his coaching institutions in a year where he is currently enrolled.
• A student can get 100 points for each vendor/seller registering on this website on his invitation.
• A student has to earn minimum 500 points each year to keep his membership alive on the website.
• Earn Your Rank: On earning 500 points, a student will earn one Silver Star. On earning 5 Silver Stars (i.e. on getting 2500 points), he/she will be upgraded to the Gold Star status. On earning 5 Gold Stars, a student gets the exalted position of a Diamond Star ranker. These stars will be displayed on your webpage on this website.
• Win Prizes: First twenty five students scoring 1001 points shall win a 2 GB Pen Drive each. By 31st March for every year top three scorers in each category of students – Toddlers plus Kids Korner, Teen Tangent and Campus Crew – shall win i-Pod(s).
• Win Accolades: Names of top ten students in each category scoring more than 500 points shall be displayed on the website.
• The first contest will close on 31st March every year & the winners will be declared by 30th April every year.
• A team of experts at www.GuideStudent.com will evaluate the overall performance of top 25 students in each category & give additional marks out of 100 for innovation, originality & creative approach of the student as said in clause 2 & 3 also considering his/her overall performance.
• Out of first five top scorer students of a school in point game, one will be chosen as the Brand Ambassador of Guidestudent.com. His/her name will be displayed on the website, provided the student meets the minimum criterion to take such responsibility, as decided by the management of the website.

Redeem Your Points: At the end of the point game, the points earned will be adjusted for additional storage space for your account. A student will get 1 MB of additional storage space for his/her, briefcase in exchange of every 500 earned points. The redemption will be done in multiple of 500 points; any balance below 500 remaining at the end of the due date will lapse. Also, a user will get storage space for 1 additional picture on every Silver Star that he/she earns.

For Campus Crew (Undergraduate, Post Graduate and Ph.D. Students):

Earn Your Points:

• A student earns 10 points on completion of the profile.

(Students will ask questions & you have to answer them within 24 hours).
• Topics for Q’s & A’s column can be personality development, child psychology , curriculum related, parental guidance, teachers guidance, quizzes, aptitude test, innovative and creative ideas, general knowledge, group discussion, preparation of competitive exam, career guidance, creating working models, science models , Vedic mathematics etc.
• You will earn 2 points on every invitation he sends to a user who is not registered at GuideStudent.com.
• For each invited student, parent, grandparent, teacher, alumni who registers on the website you can earn 10 points.
• For each invited school/college/university/educational society which registers on the website, you can earn 250 points.
• For each invited coaching /training institution which registers on the website, you can earn 100 points.
• For each invited seller/vendor who registers on the website, you can earn 100 points.
• You have to earn minimum 500 points every year to keep your membership alive.

  Earn Your Points:

  • On completion of the profile there are 100 points to be earned.
  • Schools can post question papers of last five years of exit level examinations (10th or 12th class board examinations) conducted by their State or Central Boards of education to which they are affiliated and earn 10 points for every set of question papers of last five years. .(One set means all question papers of all subjects of the previous five years)
  • Colleges and Universities can post question papers of last five years of examinations held by them and earn 10 points for every set of question papers of last five years. .(One set means all question papers of all subjects of the previous five years)
  • On posting subject wise important reading material/notes on their profile, they shall earn 10 points per month subject to a maximum of 100 points.
  • For every freely downloadable mock test in each subject (& answer/ solution sheet posted thereafter on their webpage), institutions will get 20 points subject to a maximum of 200 points in a year.
  • For every article posted on the discussion forum, institution will get 10 points subject to a maximum of 100 points in a year.
  • For every general knowledge test, an educational quiz or an aptitude test (& answer sheet posted thereafter on their webpage), they will get 10 points per test subject to a maximum of 100 points in a year.
  • For conducting an interactive question answer column/section on each subject on their webpage, they will get 20 points per month subject to a maximum of 200 points in a year. (Students will ask questions & institution shall answer them within 24 hours).
  • For giving home assignments to their students from their webpage, they will get 10 points per month subject to a maximum of 100 points in a year.
  • You will earn 2 points on every invitation he sends to a user who is not registered at GuideStudent.com.

  • For the first 250 points earned, an institution shall get a discount of 50% for the space provided on the website.
  • Thereafter, for every 50 points scored, an institution shall get a discount of 10%. To earn 100% discount on the charges for the space provided on the website, an institution shall have to earn 500 points in a year.
  • The space charges will be announced next year in January which will be applicable on renewal of membership on site from 1st of April onwards.

  • Any user found to create false identities/members just to earn points shall be banned from this site.

  • Coaching/Training Institutions can post question papers of last five years of any competitive examination e.g. IIT-JEE, AIEEE, CPMT, PMT, CAT, UPSC exam, or 10th and 12th class examination held by any University/Board of school education etc. on their profile on this site and earn 10 points for every set of question papers of last five years. (One set means all question papers of all subjects of the previous five years)
  • On posting subject wise important reading material/notes on their profile, they shall earn maximum of 10 points per month subject to a maximum of 100 points in a year.
  • For every mock test in each subject (& answer/solution sheet posted thereafter on their webpage), institutions will get 20 points subject to a maximum of 200 points in a year.

  • For displaying product information on the website, you can earn 10 points for each product. (Product details should be clearly and unambiguously displayed along with specifications, a picture of the product {picture should not be of more than 30 kb} and its price).
  • There is a limit for displaying up to 50 products only which is absolutely free. Thereafter vendors will have to contact the website for additional product display space.
  • You will earn 2 points on every invitation he sends to a user who is not registered at GuideStudent.com.
  • You can invite school/college/university/educational society on this website. For each invited school/college/university/educational society which registers on the website, you can earn 250 points.
  • For each invited coaching /training institution which registers on the website, you can earn 100 points.
  • For each invited seller/vendor who registers on the website, you can earn 100 points.
